In a desire to create enchantment for the reader, the Magical Journey Books were created with a spirit. They were then filled with beauty, gold corded, bound by hand, then set within a precious box. The ear for which their magic is intended are those "growing up" and those "already growing down again"

Within these books, each to their own heart, will find a play with words, images and symbols that give rise to mythic themes and seek as the alchemist to transform the characters and the reader in the process. For the ancient seers tell us that enchantment, "Formation and Transformation" are the eternal recreation of the soul.

Prior to his creation of the Magical Journey Books™, Dean spent nearly twenty years as a successful actor on television, and founded two theatres in Hollywood, starring in, producing, and directing critically acclaimed productions. In addition, Dean is a noted martial artist, a third degree black belt in Kenpo Karate, in direct line with Master Ryusaki, where he served as a Sensei for many years at the well known and respected Ryu-Dojo in Los Angeles. Having a strong background in Zen, Eastern Philosophy, and esoteric mysticism, his classes were always invibed not only with the emphasis of perfecting the body, but the mind and the spirit as well. With his great love of story and drama, Dean has woven each of his many talents into his Magical Journey Books™

After facing a spontaneous detached retina, a severed rotator cuff with subsequent surgical repair and rehabilitation he has successfully created a new persona, a new career, and to his reader's delight, several stories that embrace the heart and enchant the soul. 	Return of the Magi © The Inner Quest Awakened in the middle of the night from a strange dream, the inner landscape of his mind altered by a place and a voice long forgotten... our reluctant hero finds himself, by way of synchronicity, in the small bayou town in Louisiana in which he grew up.
